Meet The Board
I am in my 25th year of selling real estate in Illinois. I live by checklists. It never feels like work because I LOVE guiding people through the home buying & selling process. I am also a real estate investor and bring that skill set to our clients. Although I grew up in Southern Illinois. I am proud to be a Florida Gator who loves football, baseball and hockey. I’m the mother of two boys, Nicholas and Colin and am married to Matt, a former Environmental Geologist and now a licensed agent on our team!
Jean graduated from the University of Florida, and went on to Southern Illinois University Carbondale where she earned her Masters Degree. Her education did not stop there. She is an avid believer in continuing education and has obtained several prestigious designations that demonstrate her commitment to being the best agent for her clients: CRS, ABR, GRI & e-Pro. Jean dedicates her experience, expertise and strong work ethic to every client she represents.
It was my great privilege to serve the public in a retail selling environment for over 30 years prior to becoming a real estate agent, which I have enjoyed for almost 6 years now. I enjoy challenging myself as well as the status quo; finding collaborative solutions; thinking outside of the box and fostering strong relationships with others. My education took me down a path of teaching with a Bachelors in Secondary Education with a major of Mathematics and Science. I am blessed to be working at Keller Williams Marquee in Edwardsville, Illinois; as well as, Sales Representative at DOMA Title. I have served as the Vice President on the board at GGAR for the past year as well as two years as a director. I have been with my spouse for over 30 years. We are very involved in community activities as well as being one of the first to volunteer for charitable events or being benefactors to organizations that are important to us such as PAWs and Human Rights Campaign Foundation. I take great pride in my community of neighbors as well as the communities that support diversity and celebrate those that are different from ourselves.
Kristene received her license as a REALTOR® in 2001. She became a member of the Greater Gateway Association of Realtors (GGAR) in 2011 serving the St. Louis Metro East Area. After obtaining her license in 2001 she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and spent four years as a US Army Civilian auditing the United States Army. Two of those years were served in Iraq under Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn. April 2018, she launched KRS Realty, LLC as the Designated Managing Broker/Owner with a mission of keeping real estate simple. Additionally, she attended the 2018 GGAR Leadership Academy while growing her business. She holds the following designations: GRI, e-PRO, CRS, PSA, and SFR. She is a RPAC Major Investor (MI) holding the Sustaining Golden R MI level and is a President’s Circle participant. Over the last 18 years she has volunteered as a Scout Leader. During that time, she trained numerous Scouts and adults in leadership principles, a passion of hers, by serving on several Wood Badge, Kodiak, and NYLT staffs. This includes helping over 20 young men and one young woman earn the rank of Eagle Scout. She has earned the Cub Scouter Award, Boy Scouter Award, Boy Scout and Venturing Leadership Awards, James E West Fellowship Award, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver Award, and holds the rank of Vigil in the Order of the Arrow (The highest honor in the Boy Scouts National Honor Society). Kristene is thrilled to have her son, Jacob (Now a member of GGAR) join the firm, and enjoys her 2 dogs, Orion and Ernie. She has lived in Collinsville for the last 20+ years and looks forward to serving her community as well as the GGAR family as the President of GGAR.
Hi, I’m Jenni Rowe Beck of “JENNI SELLS HOMES” at RE/MAX Alliance. I began my real estate career in 2003. As a FULL-TIME, FULL-SERVICE broker for almost 20 years, I have weathered the ups and downs of all kinds of market conditions, with the experience in selling all kinds of real estate. From those ‘hard to sell’ listings, to high-end homes, starter homes, new construction, investment properties, land/acreage, commercial, and most commonly, your average Midwest family home. Real Estate is my only job, and I oversee every detail of every transaction using the latest tools and resources to ensure a smooth and successful transaction…and happy clients! I am a forward-thinking, tech-savvy agent. I currently serve on the Professional Standards Committee for Illinois REALTORS® as well as the Board of Directors of our regional MLS. I am an advocate for property owners, investing my time and money while working closely with our lobbyists and elected officials to ensure that homeowners, housing providers, and REALTORS® have a voice in important decisions and laws regarding home ownership. I am an RPAC Major Investor. On a personal note, I am a life-long Madison County, IL resident, a mother of two amazing grown-up kids, I have a dog named Waylon, I enjoy traveling to warm and sunny beaches, listening to good music, and spending time with my family and friends.
Hello my name is Laura Dochwat and I work with Coldwell Banker Brown Realtors. I started my real estate journey back in 2015, and have worked my way up to being a multi-million dollar producer annually with the help of some AMAZING Cooperating brokers and affiliates. During my career I’ve done primarily residential transactions, had my fair share with foreclosures properties, commercial and even some property management. I serve all types of clients in every price range. I believe in professional standards, open lines of communications, conducting business in an ethical manner, and resolutions as a team. As a Board of Directors member I would aim to spread knowledge to our community of the importance of our industry and strengthen our value. Together we are REALTORS! Scott Gruber serves as Senior Mortgage Lender for the Goshen Road First Mid banking center. Scott has been lending in the Metro East and St. Louis areas since 1998, and has been in the mortgage industry since 1991. His specialty is helping first time buyers secure financing for their new homes. He is an expert on all types of financing, including FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional and Home Equity loans. He began his career as a loan processor/closer; so he has experienced the loan process from start to finish.
I’ve enjoyed being a dedicated REALTOR with Landmark Realty Godfrey since 1999. I’ve been involved with GGAR by serving on the RPAC, Legislative Affairs and Technology Committees and have also been a part of the Diversity Working Group. I attended the Leadership Academy in 2020 and received my MEME Certification. Because I believe in standing up for our clients, I’m an RPAC Major Investor.
As a REALTOR, I love building relationships with both clients and members of the real estate community. This is the best job ever. I believe that, in real estate and life, we have an obligation to support our communities by being involved and volunteering our time and effort. My focus is always on growing and developing as a REALTOR-always learning, working together as a team, communicating well and mentoring. As a member of the Board of Directors, I’ve enjoyed being able to be a part of those things.
I’m a life-long member of the Riverbend and think we live in an amazing community. I’m mom to two daughters and two stepsons. My husband Mike and I love to explore our area and have adventures.
Over the last 20 years or so I have spent an uncountable amount of hours “doing” real estate. I love working with buyers and sellers in Marion, Herrin, Carterville, Johnston City, Goreville, Lake of Egypt, Carbondale and other surrounding areas. I take my biggest pride in being able to help first time home buyers find their new home, and just love being able to watch them grow and get ready to sell that home and move to a dream home to raise a family in. I have been selling real estate for almost 17 years, but have worked in real estate for over 25 years. I worked for a title insurance company in two other states and learned what goes into abstracting and closing home loans. I enjoy helping buyers get qualified for their home loans and helping to determine which loan is best for them. Selling homes in Southern Illinois has been challenging over the last few years, but the market is gaining strength and we are on the rebound. I love talking about real estate and have an opinion on most aspects of it.
Erika Obrecht is a 21-year member of the REALTOR® family. Her company, Radon Safety Squad, performs the scientific measurement of radon gas in residential and commercial real estate, serving Illinois and Missouri. She is also the managing broker of Real Estate Direct, her family’s residential leasing company. Erika also has a 10-year background in real estate appraisal.
Erika has earned a bachelor degree from SIUC in Workforce Education and Development and an associate degree from SWIC in Administration of Justice which includes an EMT certification. She has also earned the GRI designation and ePRO and At Home With Diversity certifications.
Driven by community spirit, Erika actively devotes her time to society. Erika is a major investor for RPAC and Scholarship Benefactor for Girl Scouts of Southern IL. She is a member of NAR, IAR, and GGAR. She is also a member of the Midwest Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists, American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists, 100 Women Who Care, and National Society of Leadership and Success. She is a Faith in Action driver for Glen-Ed and Adopt a Highway sponsor in both IL and MO. Erika’s family is the Steward of the Little Free Library at Edwardsville Township Park and of the Spun chairs at the Edwardsville Children’s Museum. Erika’s family also fosters children as a Safe Families host.
Erika lives in Glen Carbon with her husband of 17 years, JR, and 13-year-old daughter, Ivy. JR is a mortgage banker with Homestead Financial Mortgage in Glen Carbon with two decades of experience in the mortgage industry. He is an affiliate member of GGAR and major investor for RPAC. Ivy is a high honor student at Maryville Christian School and plays clarinet and volleyball. In leisure, the Obrecht’s enjoy spending time in nature, water sports, and traveling.
I have been married to my wife Dannia for 33 years. We have two children, Cory and Samantha. Cory and his wife Aubree have blessed us with two grandchildren, Brynlee and Bowen. My favorite hobby is to hang out with my family on our boat at Table Rock lake. Prior to real estate, I helped build out/open and manage four Wild Birds Unlimited Stores. Ultimately becoming owner/manager of the Kirkwood, MO store in which we would move it to its current Warson Woods location. Currently besides Real Estate, we own and manage our sons business, Altered Grass Lawn Care Services. My Real Estate career started in 2005 with Prudential One Realty Center where I went on to become Broker Manager of the Maryville Office and then the Granite City Office. From there I joined RE/MAX Alliance and currently am in charge of Compliance, Assisting the Broker Manager and new agent training.
Lisa Webb epitomizes integrity, energy, hard work and creative service in every detail of her client’s real estate transactions. Lisa grew up in the small community of Livingston, IL. and has always been a local resident of the Metro East area and is a current member of the Bunker Hill Area Chamber of Commerce, the Riverbend Growth Association and member of the Edwardsville Team Referral Network. Lisa brings over 20 years of Business Management and Customer Service as a full-time broker and has handled every aspect of the business from buyers, sellers, investors, acreage, traditional and foreclosures. Lisa is family oriented with her husband, three grown children and six grandchildren. I’m a father of three children, Jonathan, Amiah, & Nathaniel. A graduate of Alton Senior High, and a student of Lewis & Clark Community College. As a volunteer – Parent & Staff projects within the Alton School District. Active within the community and church organizations. And past president and board member of Alton Main Street. Currently I’m President-Elect and board member of the Alton Godfrey Rotary Club. I’ve worked in our community at local companies for 30 years and been a licensed real estate agent for the past ten years. Working as a full time agent, I continually strive for excellence. I’m friendly, positive and motivated. As well as always open and up for a challenge.
