Sandy Michel Stempinski

President

Sandy Michel Stempinski, GRI began her real estate career in 1989 as a sales associate and received her broker license in 1990. She works for Heart and Home Realty in Vandalia.

Sandy has previously served on the Board of Governors for the Southwestern Illinois Regional Multiple Listing Service (SIR/MLS). She is the current Vice Chairman of GGAR and currently serves on the association’s Budget & Finance Committee and the Legislative/RPAC Committee. She also currently serves on the Ethics Citation Panel, Federal Political Coord Contact Teams, Illinios Bi-Centennial Task Force, Spring Conference Working Group and State Legislative Contacts Working Group for IAR.  Sandy also finds time to serve  on the Economic Development Commission for Vandalia, Fayette County YMCA and is a member of the Vandalia Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Sandy is a Past President of the Vandalia Chamber of Commerce and Past President of the Fayette County YMCA.

Community service is very important to Sandy.  She has served on various Boards and fundraising committees throughout the years in Fayette County. In 2001, she was a recipient of the Abe Award, a Vandalia community service award.  Sandy lives in Vandalia with her husband Rich and they have three daughters, Amy who own and operates the Copper Penny Bar and Grille in Vandalia, Kellie and Katie who are both in high school.

Mark Shamalian Massey

President-Elect

Mark Shamalian Massey is a graduate of St. Louis University.  He began his career in real estate in 2005 and joined his family in the business, to continue the dedication and hard work of serving the public in real estate.

He is licensed in Illinois and Missouri and works for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Elite Properties in Edwardsville, Illinois and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Alliance Real Estate in Clayton, Missouri.  Mark and his team have continuously won the Chairman's Award with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (formerly Prudential Real Estate) for over 20 years.

Prior to Mark's career in real estate he worked in HR Benefits and Compensation for 10 years, creating benefit and compensation plans for corporations.

Mark is a lifelong resident of the area and lives in Edwardsville.

Laurie Moore

Vice President

Laurie began her real estate career in 2009.  She is currently sponsored by RE/MAX Alliance in Edwardsville.  Laurie has served on the GGAR Community Involvement Committee for over four years.  She has also served on a committee for the Community Hope Center and is a regular donor to Children's Miracle Network and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Laurie lives in Alton with her husband Jim.  She feels truly blessed both personally and professionally.  It's important to her to make a difference by trying to give back and help others.

Tammy Owens

Past President

Tammy Owens is the Managing Broker & Co-Owner of RE/MAX Alliance with offices in Collinsville, Edwardsville and Highland.  She, along with her partner and husband Rick Owens, bought their first office in 2008 and has grown it into one of the leading companies in the Metro East.

Tammy is passionate about involvement and currently serves on GGAR's Awards, Budget and Finance Committees in addition to serving on the Board of Directors since 2012.  She is also serving as President of the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce, is active at St. Johns United Church of Christ and is involved with Children's Miracle Network.

Tammy has received numerous awards over the years through the association including President's Award on several occasions.  Their office, RE/MAX Alliance, was named 2013's "Brokerage of the Year," the highest honor an office can achieve.

She is a life-long resident of the area and currently resides in Maryville.  She and Rick have three grown children, REALTOR® Andrew Wilde, Ashley Warnecke and Derrick Wilde.  Tammy is committed to the real estate community and has a genuine caring desire to help her fellow REALTORS®, what she considers extended family.  This is her life's work... her passion.

Jenni Beck

Director

Jenni Beck has been licensed since 2003.  She is Managing Broker/Owner since 2008 of Current Realty.  She is very involved in RPAC, both locally and at the state level and has been a major investor since 2010.  She has served as the 2014 Chair of Political Fundraising Working Group for IAR and 2010-2011 Chairman of the Board for GGAR.  She is currently serving on the MARIS Board of Directors, previously served on SIRMLS Board of Governors, State Legislative contact for Senator Haine, IAR's Professional Standard Committee, and Technology, Spring Conference, Political Fundraising and Major Investor Working Groups.

Jenni loves to sing, travel, drink coffee, and spend time with my family and girlfriends, and my new dog Waylon!

Jeb Blasingame

Director

Jeb Blasingame is the Managing Broker/Owner of Star REALTORS® in Granite City, a leader in the REO business for decades.  Licensed in the States of Illinois and Missouri for the last 15 years.  Jeb led the company to new heights in 2015, as Star became the #1 team in the St. Louis Metroplex and was ranked as the #31 team nationally in number of homes sold, as reported in Real Trends/The Wall Street Journal.  He is a major investor with RPAC.

Raised in Granite City, Jeb was an All-State soccer goalie on the South High School Warriors state championship team in 1982.  He graduated from Western Illinois University with a business management degree after serving as student body vice president and interning with Illinois State Representative Sam Woolf.  Jeb gained experience in the insurance industry with The Travelers Group and operated a successful All-State Insurance agency in Granite City before joining Star REALTORS® in 2001.  Jeb and Ginger have four children.

Elizabeth Hellrung

Director

Elizabeth Hellrung earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.  She earned her real estate license in 2004 and worked diligently to build a strong customer base in the single family resale and new construction markets.  In 2009 she earned her managing broker's license and in 2011 was named the managing broker of the Coldwell Banker Brown REALTORS® office located in Troy.

Elizabeth also finds joy in serving her community.  She chairs the City of Troy's Planning Commission, serves as a Jarvis Township Trustee, sits on the City of Troy Community Improvement Board, and is an active leader with the Troy-Maryville-St. Jacob-Marine Chamber of Commerce, Troy Elementary Schools PTO, and the Lewis & Clark Cub Scouts.  Elizabeth loves supporting and helping to improve the organizations where she, her husband, and her children are involved.

Elizabeth lives in Troy with her husband Charlie and their three children, Max - 13, Will - 9, and Katie - 6.

Marc Kamp

Director

Marc started his lending career with Associates Finance Corporation in 1981 where he held the position as Branch Manager as well as Auditor.  He joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 2001 as a Home Mortgage Consultant then prompted to Branch Manager.  In 2011 he joined First Clover Leaf Bank where he is currently a Senior Mortgage Lender.

Marc holds a Bachelors degree in Business from UMSL and for the past three years has been recognized in the St. Louis Five Star Mortgage Professional.

He is a Past Trustee for St. Boniface Church, a member of the Edwardsville Knights of Columbus where he served as Treasurer for three years, and a high school and American Legion baseball umpire.   Marc enjoys walking with his wife Kay who is a teacher at St. Boniface School and golfing.  He lives in Edwardsville and has three children.

Rick Lauschke

Director

Rick Lauschke began working in real estate full time as a Broker for Paul R. Lauschke & Associates, Inc. in Alton.  He has served on the SIRMLS board since 2010 and chaired the board for one year.

Outside of real estate, he has served on the Hayner Public Library board as a Trustee for 14 years.  He has also been involved with the Wellspring Resources board where he serves as Director and Treasurer, as well as having been involved with the Riverbend Growth Association, United Way Campaign and Allocations committees, Riverbend Rotary and the Alton Education Foundation.

Rick grew up in the Alton/Godfrey area where he currently resides.

Sharon Pratt

Director

Sharon Pratt, GRI is the Managing Broker/Owner of RE/MAX River Bend in Alton which she co-owns with her partner Dennis Dugan.

Sharon has been a REALTOR® for over 40 years and has served on various committees through her years with the Alton-Wood River Board and now the Greater Gateway Association.  She is a lifelong resident of the area and is always quick to show her support for worthy causes in the community.  She is an active member of Hearts Harvest Church in Bethalto and serves on the advisory board there as well as being involved in the music ministry.  Sharon has received numerous sales awards from not only the local association but also RE/MAX International's Hall of Fame award.  She is consistently one of the most respected, top producing brokers in the area and goes the extra mile in making sure her clients are given the best guidance possible.

Sharon resides in Godfrey with her husband Larry.  They are the proud parents of Jason and Lisa and grandparents to Jake, Chase & Gage.

Elaine Rhodes

Elaine Rhodes, GRI, SFR, SRES is Managing Broker/Owner of Property Professionals of Illinois Midwest Division, LLC in Godfrey.  Elaine has been awarded the IAR Ruby, Silver and Bronze awards throughout her real estate career.  She also serves on various committees with the Illinois Association of REALTORS® and the Greater Gateway Association of REALTORS®.  She is an active Board member of the Alton Area Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, and supports 5 A's Humane Society in their efforts to find pets a New Forever Home.  Elaine has lived in the River Bend area for over 40 years and resides in the Fosterburg area with her husband Jim.  In her spare time she enjoys visiting with her two daughters and spoiling her wonderful grand kids.

Joy Wofford

Director

Joy Wofford, CRS, e-PRO, GRI has been a licensed REALTOR® since 2001 and is currently a Broker Associate with RE/MAX Alliance in Glen Carbon.  Joy served GGAR as a Past President and member of the Board of Directors.  She has served on many GGAR committees and has chaired the Awards Committee for the past two years.  She was honored to receive the 2014 REALTOR® of the Year award from GGAR.  She has served on several IAR committees including Education, Professional Standards, Spring Conference, Nominating, and Real Estate Education Foundation.  Joy is the 2014 President of the Illinois Chapter of CRS.  Joy is treasurer of Lewis & Clark Habitat for Humanity and serves on the board of the Collinsville Chapter.  She is also treasurer of Collinsville Progress, part of the Chamber of Commerce.  Joy lives in Collinsville and has one son, Eric, who is married and also lives in Collinsville.
